Michael Imhotep, host of The African History Network Show on 12-27-28 delivered a Kwanzaa presentation in Detroit at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History for the 2nd day of Kwanzaa, Kujichagulia (Self-Determination).  "From Kwanzaa to Wakanda" deals with some of the history of Kwanzaa, the traditional African First Fruits Harvest celebrations Kwanzaa is based upon and shows how this celebration helps to reconnect African Americans to African History and Culture.

The film "Black Panther" also helps to do the same.  The IsiXhosa language spoken in the film is a Bantu language and Kwanzaa is Kiswahili which is a Bantu language as well.  There are African Cultural influences we see in the film from 11 different African Cultures.  The film relates to African History also for instace T'Challa (Black Panther) is the richest man in the world and in history that was Emperor Mansa Musa of the Mali Empire in 1312A.D.  This DVD contains 4 presentations including the Kwanzaa presentations Michael Imhotep delivered in 2017 and 2018.

On the 4th Day of Kwanzaa 2018, Michael Imhotep delivered a presentation dealing Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) and historical examples of the type of Coops African American had even during Slavery.  These are principles that African people brought with them from Africa to America.
